Honky Tonk Man to shake, rattle and roll into Lindsay 0
Wrestling legend The Honky Tonk Man will headline the Great Canadian Wrestling's (GCW) Lindsay debut next week.
The Honky Tonk Man will be joined by former WWE and ECW superstar Shawn 'Gavin' Spears and women's champion, Lufisto, when the GCW invades the Victoria Park Armoury on Feb. 21. Bell time is 7 p. m. with doors opening at 6 p. m.
The Honky Tonk Man has more than 30 years in the wrestling business and is famous for his run in WWE in the 1980s and early 1990s; guitar-smashing feuds with Jake the Snake Roberts, 'Macho Man' Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. This is a rare opportunity to meet and interact with the WWE legend as he steps into the ring to grapple with Canada's top wrestling talent for his GCW debut, organizers stated in a press release.
The company is proud to have Spears returning home to Ontario and GCW, following his time in ECW and WWE. Plus, Lufisto, the ALF (Association de Lutte Féminine) women's champion is travelling all the way from Montreal.
Also appearing on the card will be GCW National Champion Otis Idol, Cody Deaner, Crazzy Steve, Sexxxy Eddy, Sebastian Suave and international superstars Hornet and Rico Montana, among others.
