LINDSAY-The following is a list of those who have been convicted of offences in Lindsay Provincial Court, as well as those who have had charges withdrawn, dismissed, or stayed.

Withdrawn means the Crown has decided not to proceed with the charge(s) or is relaying them until a future date.

The information here, obtained from the public docket available for public viewing at 440 Kent Street West, includes the name and age of the accused, the charge(s) and all available details about the sentence(s) that they received.

In cases when the accused faces charges of both impaired driving (care or control of a motor vehicle) and over 80 mgs (exceeding the legal blood-alcohol limit), only one charge will remain while the other is withdrawn at the time of sentencing.

Jan. 19

Robert Huffman, 53, was jailed 30 days and given an order of prohibition-seizure for impaired driving.

Charges including two counts of exceeding the legal blood alcohol limit and a dangerous operation of a motor vehicle charge were withdrawn.

David Fice 37, had a peace bond and charges of threatening death-bodily harm and failing to comply with probation withdrawn.

Jan. 20

Judith Armour, 56, had a theft under $5,000 charge withdrawn on a diversion.

Phillip Nicholson, 27, was given 33 months in jail, an order of prohibition-seizure and served 45 days in presentence custody for two counts of robbery.

He also served 10 days in presentence custody for failing to comply with probation and criminal harassment. He served 90 days in presentence custody for aggravated assault. For failing to comply with probation, he was given 30 days of concurrent jail time.

Charges of threatening death-bodily harm, possession of a weapon, assault with a weapon and two counts each of disguise with intent and failing to comply with probation were withdrawn.

Bernard Keenan, 22, was given 18 months of probation and a suspended sentence for making harassing phone calls and failing to comply with bail conditions. He also served two days in presentence custody for refusing to assist police.

Charges of being intoxicated, assault, assaulting a peace officer and another count of failing to comply with bail conditions were withdrawn.

Elvis Draper, 33, was jailed 60 days, served 109 days in presentence custody for two counts of failing to comply with bail conditions and a failing to comply with probation charge.

Charges including two counts of failing to comply with probation and single counts of failing to reattend court, assault with a weapon, failing to comply with bail conditions, forcible entry and being unlawfully at large were withdrawn.

Shane Bailey, 18, had charges of driving with no-improper plates and unreasonable noise-smoke withdrawn.

Raad Zora, 24, had charges of possessing counterfeit money and counterfeiting money withdrawn.

David Youkhana, 20, was given two months to pay a $250 fine for failing to reattend court and two months to pay a $750 fine for failing to comply with bail conditions.

Charges of counterfeiting money and possessing counterfeit money were withdrawn.

Heather Redhead, 28, was given a suspended sentence and 18 months of probation for obstructing justice.

Jeremy McDonald, 27, was given three months of jail time, an order of prohibition seizure and 18 months of probation for assault causing bodily harm. He also served 25 days in presentence custody for disobeying a court order and was given one month of consecutive jail time for failing to comply with conditions.

A trespass at night charge was withdrawn.

Stephanie Lewis, 19, had charges including four counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and fail or refuse to cooperate and two counts each of possession of a weapon, careless use-storage of a firearm, and single counts of failing to exercise precautions and a dog owners liability withdraw.

Matthew McCord, 27, had four counts of breaching a peace bond and single count of failing to comply with probation, failing to exercise precautions and a dog owners liability withdrawn.

Steven Barcho, 20, was given eight months to pay a $750 fine for failing to comply with bail conditions and six months to pay a $250 fine for failing to reattend court.

He was also given a three month conditional sentence for uttering counterfeit money.

Charges including three more counts each of the latter charge and failing to comply with bail conditions and single counts of failing to reattend court and counterfeiting money withdrawn.

Wayne Bailey, 47, had charges including two counts of unauthorized possession and single counts of assault, threatening death-bodily harm and assault with a weapon withdrawn.

Jan. 21 A theft charge was withdrawn

from Tracy Griffiths, 41.

Cory Wilson-Wells, 27, was given a conditional discharge on an assault charge and had charges of obstructing a peace officer, intoxicated and failing to leave premises withdrawn.

Pamela Vanmeer, 43, had an appeal for a speeding charge dismissed.

* * *

Murray Simmons, 62, was given one year of probation and six and nine months to pay respective $500 fines and a prohibition order for two counts of cruelty to animals.

Three more of the same charge were withdrawn.
