FENELON TWP. - Hwy. 35 at Glenarm Rd. west of Fenelon Falls was closed after a serious crash involving a car and pickup truck that sent two people to hospital this (Saturday) afternoon.

Emergency crews could be seen performing CPR on the female driver of a Volkswagen Beetle that collided with a large truck after she was freed from the vehicle. She was rushed to Lindsay's Ross Memorial Hospital.

A male occupant of the truck was also taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Traffic is being detoured at County Rd. 8 into Fenelon Falls south of the crash and west onto Glenarm Rd. north of the scene.
